Admission Procedure

Programmes of the Institute

i) PGDBM (Post graduate diploma in business Administration) two years full time programme approved by AICTE.

ii) PGDMA (Post Graduate diploma in Marketing) two years full time programme approved by AICTE..

iii) PGDIT / PGDBM (IT) two years full time programme approved by AICTE.

iv) PGDBM in Retailing two years full time programme approved by AICTE.

A candidate should be graduate in any discipline preferably minimum 50% marks of a recognized by University by UGC and AIU.

A candidate will be selected for admission to any course on the basis of all India Merit basis determined by :-

i) Written Exam followed by scores:-

ii) Group discussion. fc

iii) Personal Interview.

The candidates are advised to qualify MAT or CAT written exam and apply tds along with registration at MAT or CAT Exam.

Eligibility

PGDM (2 YEAR FULL TIME)

A Recognized Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.

OR

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering if Technology or any other subject with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate or any qualification recognized as equivalent there to with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.

OR

Passed the final examination of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or England, the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India / England Or the Institute of Company Secretaries of India.

Procedure of GD/PI

1. Documents required at the time of GD/PI

a) Original Cat/Mat/Xat Score Card.

b) Proof of date of Birth (Secondary School Certificate issued by affiliated Board).

c) Certificate and mark sheets of qualifying examination issued by the Board / University.

d) Conduct and Character Certificate from the last institution attended.

e) Certificate of Medical fitness to be signed by a registered medical practitioner holding a degree not lower than MBBS.

f) Original Certificates of categories namely SC, ST, Defence & Physically Handicapped, Kashmiri Migrants whichever is applicable.

g) Demand Draft of Rs. 30,000/- in favour of BLS Institute of Management payable at Ghaziabad / Delhi.

h) One set of Photostat copies of all the certificates duly attested.

i) Copy of Passport. If you don’t have passport, you are required to apply for passport within 15 days upon receipt of admission offer and the same should be submitted within 60 days upon receipt of admission letter

2. The candidates should report at the institute for GD/PI on the date and time notified for GD/PI, in person and shall sign the attendance register in proof thereof and also deposit Rs. 1100/- towards Application Form of BLS Institute of Management before entering the Counseling Hall. The Application fee of Rs. 1100/- will neither be refundable nor adjustable in any case, even if a candidate opts out or cannot get a seat as per his/her preference. The following procedure will be followed.

a) At the time of reporting for GD/PI, the candidate shall produce the Application Form of BLS Institute of Management duly filled in along with original certificates and one set of photocopies thereof. If the candidate is admitted to the programme, the photocopies of the documents will be retained by the institute and the candidate will be required to submit the original documents to the institute at a later date. The head of the institution shall again verify the original documents to ensure the eligibility of the candidate and the original documents will be retained in the institution/center till the completion of the programme.

b) The candidates will be called in order of merit and shall be offered the seats available in the programme if qualified after GD/PI.

c) A candidate, who fails to appear in person on the notified date & time for GD/PI, shall forfeit the right to the process of admission. He/she may be considered provided the seat is available.

d) A candidate who is allotted a seat will be required to deposit Rs. 30,000/- after selection for reserving the seat. The fee will have to be deposited by a crossed Demand Draft drawn in favor of BLS Institute of Management payable at Delhi/Ghaziabad. If a candidate fails to deposit the requisite fees immediately after the seat is offered to him/her, the offer will be withdrawn on the spot and the seat will be allotted to the next candidate in the merit list. No part payment or payment through cheque is acceptable under any circumstances.

e) All candidates are required to submit a Draft/ Pay order of Rs 30,000/-. After Selection for reserving the seats. No Admission shall be granted without depositing the amount upon being declared successful in GD/PI.
